Real authentic Salvadoran food, highly recommended. Their pupusas, tamales and fajita platter very delicious. If I could give them a higher 5 star rating I would.
Tamales are hands down the best in town!! Camarones encremados are absolutely amazing. Service is great. Definitely recommend coming here for a bite with the family.
Coming back from LA, I had discovered pupusas at a food market there. I was so excited when this place opened up taking over a prior Thai spot. I immediately knew what I wanted to order which were the pupusas. I tried the traditional pork and cheese. And the mixed pupusas which was pork, cheese, and beans, these hot flavorful pockets of yumminess garnished with a bit of the pickled slaw and salsa which are now my favorites from this place. I'm so glad I also ordered the pastelitos y pollo which are empanadas filled with seasoned chicken and cheese and fried. The fried seasoned texture of the empanadas filled are outstanding. Next evening had to come back and try something new and got the chicharon plate - not as great as the pupusas or empanadas but definitely going to hit up soon the rest of their menu.
So my wife called on her way home with the "what are we gonna eat" traditional afternoon dilemma. I said I don't care surprise me. And that's how we just came across Flores Pupuseria. She brought home 3 pork and cheese, 3 bean, pork and cheese pupusas, and 3 of these fried pop-over looking things filled with chicken and cheese. Came with side garnish and plenty of a nice, fresh basic salsa. All in was 13 bucks! A great bargain. Everything was fresh, hot, tasty. The quality was excellent and the quantity was stellar. Don't pass on those hot pop-overs! The salsa is light and addictive, being a simple tomato base and not too spicy at all. The side garnish of cabbage, with the richness of the pupusas, along with the salsa ... it all works perfectly together. We are fans and will be back.
